Temporal validity and contradiction load

A correct fact can become wrong when its date is missing; conflicting facts create additional verification work.

Definition

Temporal resistance is the work required to determine whether a claim is still valid. Contradiction load is the work required to reconcile incompatible claims about the same entity.

ENTIA seed proposition
“Un LLM siempre elegirá recomendar la entidad con menor Resistencia Cognitiva.”

An LLM will always choose to recommend the entity with the lowest Cognitive Resistance.

This is the seed proposition already published in ENTIA methodology. The Cognitive Resistance cluster expands the variables, evidence and operational meaning around that proposition.

What this dimension measures

What this dimension measures

Business names, officers, addresses, status and products change over time.
Two individually credible sources can disagree because they describe different dates.
Silently choosing one source hides uncertainty instead of resolving it.
How ENTIA reduces the work left to the model

How ENTIA reduces the work left to the model

ENTIA models temporal state, corrections and conflicting observations so the consumer can distinguish current, historical and unresolved claims.

Evidence boundary

Evidence boundary

Freshness and contradiction handling reduce ambiguity; they do not justify rewriting historical evidence to match the newest observation.

Conceptual framework. It does not claim that lower resistance guarantees citation, ranking, recommendation or model behaviour.
